(2007.07.19) on the way to daejeon

there was a public holiday on tuesday, so i skipped school on monday
and went with soojeong to her hometown (daejeon) for the long weekend.

daejeon certainly feels very different from seoul - the pace of life seems slower,
the people are more polite (they actually say! sorry! when they bump into you!), AND
the food is so much cheaper!! ㅋㅋ

we took a 2-hour bus ride from seoul to daejeon on saturday morning,
dumped our bags in soojeong’s room, then took another 2-hour bus ride
from daejeon to daecheon to attend the buryeong mud festival.

rented a ktv room from 3 - 5am to catch some shuteye as
there were no more rooms available.
